It's the worst hospital I ever have been with. I used to live in very poor countries but no matter where, the hospitals were everywhere far advanced than here - I don´t talk about the medical attention as I didn't get there because I fled before. I went there because of a possible thrombose situation so the woman at the register checked my passport and the number I got from Bulgarian national health institution and then she told me I am done - she didn't give me a piece of paper where to go or what to do, so I had to ask what shall I do now - after a while she noted on paper 126 what means I shall go to room 126 without anything in my hand or around my wrist, who am I and why am I here - so I went there and about 50 people (all with some notice in their hands) waited there already - how shall anyone know who am I or why am I in the hospital??? - after 45 minutes as noone talked to me or asked about my situation, I fled to an organized private hospital - I am pretty sad for the people who have not that choice - I really hope for them that the medical team is far better than the organizational team - they have no clue and shouldn't get paid - shame about an European country what allows such bad practice - I know they get not well paid but that's not the fault of the patients.

Complete disrespect and patient neglect demonstrated at the ER when I went in for what appeared to be a tick. The HCP on shift refused to properly examine it and stated that it was a speck of dirt without looking carefully, while wearing glasses himself. Implied his glasses were apparently more efficient at seeing things compared to my clear eyesight. The speck of dirt in question can be seen on the photo I took.

Very impressed with the care my daughter received at the pediatric emergency center. She was examined immediately, then after the assessment was made, we went in a timely fashion through all the required tests. 2 days after we went for a follow up visit, it took 10 minutes total. Professional, kind staff, smooth: keep up the good work! Emergency care of many countries should take a note. For Bulgarians who believe that everything is wrong in their country, this is one of the many things Bulgaria is ahead. Break an arm in my country (so called "Western") and, like my little brother at the time, you'll wait more than an hour without pain killers or any attention, despite the fact that it was a displaced fracture.

I visited Pirogov hospital after seriously injured my ankle. First of all about the communication as a foreigner: at the front desk, a lady speaks Greek (my mother language) & doctors at the orthopaedic clinic speak very good English. I arrived around midnight & there was no waiting time. I had x-rays & they found out my ankle was broken. They offered to urgent treat my ankle by surgery, but I decided to have it at my home country just for convenience about my recovery. Overall, they were very helpful & I totally recommend this place, at least their orthopaedic clinic.

Horrible attitude from everyone in that hospital, they did there job but whit anger. I felt so unsafe in that hospital just hope they did there job correct! A tip is that if they have an attitude you need to match it! Dont let them put you down!!
