We recently welcomed our baby at Saint Lazar and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The entire process was seamless, and the staff was consistently welcoming, attentive, and supportive. A special thanks to Dr. Nikolova, who guided us through every step of the pregnancy journey with professionalism and care. As foreigners and English speakers, it was initially challenging to find the right facility, but we are truly grateful to have found Saint Lazar. The level of service, communication, and compassion we received exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality maternity care in a supportive and accommodating environment.

I am disgusted by the profit making practices of this hospital exploting people at their most vulnerable moments. After an exam, it was determined the pregnancy was not developing properly and should be terminated, doctor Slavkova suggested abortion pills and gave her number to call in advance so she can order the pills from a hospital, they would cost BGN 800. I was shocked. A few days later, I went to my usual OBGYN who gave me a prescription and I got them at the pharmacy for BGN 60. I am absolutely disgusted that private hospitals like this take advantage of women at their most vulnerable moment. I have no words. For the exact same medication, paying 10 times more just because they are getting it for you is scandalous. There is no service or exam, just handing you over two pills.

MUST READ (especially if you are a foreigner) Main highlight - severe PTSD My wife has severe PTSD because of this hospital. The police and child protective services came to our house and investigated us because of complaints/signals this horrible hospital filed against us. Luckily, both of the inspectors immediately saw that the claims made against us were fabricated nonsense. Other highlights They shook us down by using a corrupt person at CPS. This person called us up and claimed the police were on their way to take our newborn unless... we agreed with all the extra expenses in the next half hour before they arrived (Triple the normal price!) They were going to perform an episiotomy on my wife against her very vocal opposition.. Which is literally illegal! I had to literally put my hand in front of the surgical scissors only centimetres away from the perineum. My advice NEVER EVER EVER go here as a foreigner or even a local with a birth plan and/or private stem cell bank (that signals to them you have money) Unless… you are okay with your birth plan being dismissed and spending near infinite money and them still treating you like shit. After looking over the ratings here it seems obvious a lot of the reviews are likely just paid reviews from bot accounts instead of from real reviews by real people. The owners of this hospital can not be trusted.

Absolutely terrible service. I had a feminine emergency while in Sofia and wanted to go to this specialist hospital because it seemed like the best place to go for that type of problem. I called EVERY SINGLE NUMBER they have listed, and each time I said I needed help and only spoke English, they hung up on me. What is wrong with you people?
