The hospital is clean and well maintained. Suitable central location and many parking spaces (parking is paid). We visited for bone density scan - the lap specialist was kind and attentive to my mother, the patient. Payments by card are accepted.

My personal experience with Lozenets Clinic (Bulgaria), 2025–2026 I do not recommend this Hospital and especially the laboratory here is why: Prices are heavily inflated - in many cases almost twice as high as elsewhere. For example, an HbA1C test costs 20 EUR at Lozenets Clinic, while the same test costs 9 EUR at Vita Clinic. You can easily verify this - the price difference is similar for many other tests as well. Urine sample collection is handled in an unacceptable way. Unsealed containers are given out by the laboratory receptionist using bare (and clearly unwashed) hands, and the lid is placed on the container with those same hands. This practice dramatically increases the risk of bacterial contamination. Getting prescriptions is unnecessarily complicated. You have to walk between different rooms and referrals are often issued not by doctors, but by strange random staff members - different people every time, in different rooms. The whole process feels unprofessional. Requesting an HbA1C test is pointless if you are not already diagnosed with diabetes. Ironically, HbA1C is exactly the test needed to diagnose diabetes in the first place - but without an existing diagnosis, the request is simply denied. Visit to a neurologist after a serious injury was unsuccessful. I had requested a neurologist an MRI of my spine due to back and neck problems after falling from a second floor. However, the clinic has very limited MRI quotas, and the doctor decided that my case was “not serious enough” to qualify. Additional observations: Yes, the clinic is surrounded by a beautiful park and is located in the city center. However, the inside of the clinic is in a very strange condition. Many rooms are used as receptions areas, corridors feel disorganised, and there are huge half-empty spaces. For sever years or even more people were not able to use the staircase at the main entrance - they were completely destroyed and only recently repaired - very roughly — by informal construction crew (I believe) . I use this clinic only because I live very close by and it was the only place where my husband and I could find a spot to be register with a personal doctor. At the same time, during seven years, there was not a single available spot for my child with a local personal pediatrician. because somehow he/she accepts children from distant parts of the city, but not those who live nearby - which, ironically, may be the reason my child has stayed healthy. Hope this review will help Lozenets Hospital improve major complains, compare, review and reduce Laboratory prices, organise one main professional reception and accept people form the local area first.

“It is good to give credit where it’s due” Took my wife to give birth, arrived at 00:20, the main door was closed and inside we could see a receptionist. Went there because my wife got labour pain abruptly earlier than expected date for delivery called and was picked in a minute but since I don’t speak Bulgarian well, I gave the phone to my wife unfortunately she couldn’t speak because she was in pain, I switched off. I convinced my wife calmly that the best way is if she can pick the call and inform them about our case, she accepted I called again and they picked, she spoke to the person who was on phone and we were directed to the emergency ward where we were received by the nurse on duty and examination done and in a period of 15minutes she gave birth. Everyone was kind and helpful to us and from the bottom of our hearts we appreciate your service, hospital facilities good, very clean and in a quiet park with fresh air. Specially thank you Dr. Kaloyan persenski, Prof. Dorina Mihova and the entire team of the maternity ward. I recommend!

The worst place in the world! Here people are treated like piggy banks. They will operate on you without any real need just to drain the health insurance fund. You have to wait days just to get your results printed, and nobody cares that you’re worried and wasting your time. All the staff at the reception are HORRIBLE – truly, absolutely UNFRIENDLY. In the gastroenterology department, I wish you never end up there – you won’t get any treatment, but they will definitely cut you open. Afterwards, you’ll have to pay for choosing a team and for some extra procedure you never even wanted, but once it’s done you can’t do anything about it! If you really want to get help, run far away from this hospital!!! And to the ladies at the reception, I have only one thing to say – CHANGE YOUR PROFESSION!!! And for that printing we had to wait two days...they haven't money even for printer ink obviously...😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Friendly staff and good doctors. I'm very pleased with my visit. I had to visit the hospital because of a stuffy ear (the result of a long flight, infection, and earwax buildup). As a professional musician, any ear-related ailment causes great inconvenience. Additionally, because of my profession, I need a careful, skillful, and understanding doctor. Dr. Konstantin Borisov definitely filled the bill on all accounts.
