Todeva House Tavern & Hotel в Банско

Lovely cosy tavern with an open fire. The owner is very friendly and funny. He takes pride and care with his menu of authentic traditional Bulgarian dishes, many of which are created by his family. His own wine is delicious too. I went with a group of 11 of us and we had a lovely evening, the best meal we had on our trip. Would highly recommend!

We only experienced the restaurant but it was excellent and if the hotel is run with the same care and attention then I can imagine it’s a great place to stay. Eating here was different to other restaurants. Michael the owner works very hard to serve every customer equally and to share his passion for the dishes on the menu. He explains the menu and shares the ideas for the dishes came from, each have a special meaning to him. We ordered a selection and some dishes were so delicious we ordered a second portion. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. It felt like a special place to eat, I highly recommend.

The BEST food I've had in Bansko! So good, that we've decided to come back for our next and final evening. I will leave a detailed food review after my second night of trying more dishes but all you need to know is: the food amazing, the atmosphere so cosy and comfortable, and the wine is excellent. All this is tied together by a gracious and attending host. Truly, unmissable!

We found this amazing tavern when walking the authentic streets away from the ski centre. The food and atmosphere are amazing and the host is a true original. You must visit or stay at this place when visiting Bansko for the full experience of Bulgarian hospitality. Try the Bombar, it’s simply delicious. Only wish we’d found it earlier on our trip.

We spent two nights here and loved it. It was everything we needed and expected and even more from beautiful clean room to delicious dinner at the tavern. Location is perfect with just a few steps to everything important but nothing noisy for light sleepers. The host is very friendly and kind and we are looking forward to coming back again!!! Highly recommend!
