My friend and I spent 4 nights in the area. We would give the hotel the highest rating. The room was very nice and the meals were amazing....both for people who do and do not eat meat. The couple who run the hotel know the area well and were able to give us excellent information. The transfers went smoothly. We also appreciated the suggestion that we take the train from Bansko to Sofia. It takes quite a long time but we enjoyed seeing more of the country. The location of the hotel is excellent with it being just a very short walk into town. We felt very at home at the hotel and in the area.

Absolutely lovely hotel! We loved our stay here! It was recommended by Bulgarian friends and we were so glad we stayed here! Maria and Krassi are lovely hosts!

Highly recommend this home from home hotel with such wonderfully hospitable hosts, they go over and above to make your stay a great experience. Homemade cookies went down a treat, there’s a plentiful selection of food for breakfast and be sure to sample the delicious and tasty delights of their evening meals. Liked the spacious, comfy communal chillaxing area - perfect for drinks and game playing with our companions… the hot tub is also a must! The whole place is immaculately kept and well maintained both inside and out. Bed remade daily and towels changed halfway through our stay. One thing I wasn’t too sure of was having a toilet next to an open shower in the bathroom/wet room?

Always an outstanding welcome and incredible hospitality! Maria and Krasi run an extremely professional and personal hotel. Meals are always fabulous, made with local produce to traditional local recipes. The support and advice they are able to offer to those coming to Bansko for mountain walking or skiing is second to none. A favourite location which has not tailed in impress over 10 years.

Really friendly hotel with a great welcome from Krasimir and Maria. Krasimir has contacts with a ski equipment rental shop where we had a good reduction in charges. Krasimir gave us lifts to the slopes and to a nearby spa - there was a charge for this of course but it made a big difference to our holiday. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.
