We spent the weekend at Asens Hotel Pirin Ski & Spa, and the experience was genuinely impressive. The hotel has new owners who took over just a few weeks ago, and it shows — in the best possible way. Everything runs smoothly, the atmosphere feels cared for, and the team is clearly hands-on. Breakfast and dinner were excellent: fresh, well prepared, and consistently enjoyable. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive, with staff always ready to help without being intrusive. A small but important detail: the hotel has two elevators, both fully operational, which made moving around effortless — something many places overlook, but guests appreciate immediately. Overall, a calm, well-managed hotel with great food, reliable infrastructure, and people who clearly want guests to feel welcome. Highly recommended — and definitely a place to return to.

If you can, avoid this place. Rooms are too small, dusty and old furnitured. No place for drying wet clothes. We waited 45min. for shuttle bus and he never showed up. Also, we slept four nights without bed cheets. They charge us 6€ for two small bottles of water without showing us pricelist. Food is basic and repetitive. No provided towels for all guests by the pool. They didnt care about my review at reception so not my recommendation at all.

I liked the food and the restaurant staff were amazing! The room was clean but a bit small The shower cabin in the room was moldy The sauna was hotter than any sauna I have experienced before The phone number for contacting the property is not reachable. I left a golden necklace at the room and tried calling back with no success of reaching the receptionist.

Worst hotel experience ever. No soaps. No shampoo. Not even flip flops for THE pool and No able to eat dinner(only if you have big group) except THE breakfast. Last 2 days No elevator at all and we use the stairs until the 4th floorr since then. The staff was No helpful at all and it was far from everything. Choose somewhere else
