Park Hotel "MOSKVA" в София

The view from the rooms is beautiful, especially the ones higher up. Rooms themselves are very clean and tidy and comfortable for short or extended stays. The entire hotel is very clean. They offer currency exchange at the concierge for reasonable rates and there is a small cafe in the lobby. Bathrooms were very comfortable but the bathtub is strangely tall so even my 6’+ self had a little disorientation stepping in and out. Temperature control in the rooms is very odd as it’s cooling only but easy enough to figure out. Overall look is perhaps dated but charming in spite of that. Would book again.

The view was amazing and there was always hot water and the room was warm. Although the beds were uncomfortable, throughout my whole stay they cleaned the room once without changing the toilet paper nor the towels and the food was not good. One of the cards they gave us for the room was not working. It was a not very pleasant stay but I wouldn’t say it was awful. It’s a hotel worthy of 3 stars.

This is the biggest and tallest hotel in Bulgaria. The dining hall, reception, and lobby are all spacious. However, the male receptionists were not very friendly. We stayed on the eleventh floor. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find that our room was warm. The room was just the right size for us and our luggage. It was clean, but the mattress was uneven and uncomfortable.

The hotel isn't bad, but the service comes across a bit like the name: Moskva. Maybe if they change the name to something nice rather than the name of a malevolent city and its sunken flagship, everyone working there will be happier, and it will be more Bulgarian and nice. Maybe they could get new comfortable mattresses and do a little updating. Bulgaria isn't isolated anymore by an occupier, and is European and growing.

The rooms are small, missing a Kettle, 2 person rooms only have one desk space, windows don't close tightly. One day, room service came, apparently took a stuffed animal that was still in the bed with them, and just left it in the hallway.
