Phenomenal craft and authenticity. The bread is made using quality ingredients, the right preparation techniques and it's the simplicity, which makes it so tasty. There are a few sandwich choices, but even just the bread itself is wonderful - it's baked right in front of you, too. There are a selection of sweet breads and cookies, too. Inside there is one small seating area outside, which is great in the summer. The owner is warm and welcoming and this place is worth multiple visits!

Best Place in Bansko! Such a great atmosphere and the best breads and baguettes! From the moment you enter the door, you feel at home—cozy, warm, and sooo welcoming. They pay attention to every small detail and prepare everything themselves (even the pickles!!). Please don't miss the baguettes with butter and blueberry jam, as well as the best cacao bread we've ever had in our lives!! The coffee is also great, and they have oat milk :) Above all, the staff makes this place truly special—they genuinely care about giving you the best experience!

We've just spent a week in Bansko and we saw the reviews for The French Guy which was round the corner from our hotel, so we thought we would give it a try. Really glad we did. Both times we ordered a baguette sandwich and some cookies, and both times they were made with care and were fabulous. We called again to buy a baguette sandwich each to take to the airport with us. They were spot on 💯 highly recommended

This is so cozy place with fantastic fresh bread and awesome owner/baker. He is so friendly, kind and very communicative. We came here two times during our weekend stay in Bansko. First time we ordered fresh baked bread with Brie cheese and cappuccino -everything was delightful and the next morning we ordered two different kind of bread and an apple pie “to go”, because we have not a lot of time there. And what a pleasure to keep memorise with a bite of this awesome bread at home and so kind French guy from Bansko. Hope to visit this place during our stay next time.

One of the hidden gems of Bansko. The food is fantastic and fresh, there are some nice board and fortune games/cards that you can enjoy with your coffee and/or food. The owner, Christian, is very friendly, we had a couple of pleasant chats. Highly recommended.
