Prestige Grand Hotel & Aquapark в Варна

Good hotel, service was good, breakfast was basic eggs, meats, bread and pastries, fruit and vegetables, but was good. Room average, plus points for the AC. The bigger pool was full every single day, people put their towels on the sunbeds VERY EARLY. Very good location, max 3min walk to the beach and restaurants. There is a bar and a third pool on the 4th floor, owners very kind and we got the best service there. Would definetly visit again just because of them! The best thing was

This is a cheap hotel in Golden Sands - that being said, you get your money’s worth from it. Very extensive breakfast, with some nice and tasty options. Decent beds, and very nice (and silent) air conditioning in the room. The location is super central, and it literally takes 3 minutes to walk to the beach. The hotel complex has a grocery store as well, which we found very convenient. We were not sure what to expect from a 2-star resort hotel in Bulgaria - but Hotel Erma lived up to the expectations and more, and deserve both of their stars fully ⭐️⭐️

Well after checking in we took the slowest elevator ever from the lobby (very pretty lobby, not bad) to our hotel rom witch hit me with a strong odor of cigaretts, so i opened the balcony door so the stinky air could escape but everything has absorbed the smell, so when i went to have a shower eaven the towels smelled like cigaretts. The bathrom was small but clean. Breakfast was good and all in all only the room was bad but the rest was not to bad.

I stayed with my two teenaged kids and the room was very nice and big (we booked the 30 m² room). Air conditioning was great, the beds were comfy and the bathroom worked fine for us. We had breakfast included and the breakfast buffet was also nice and had lots to choose from. The only downside was the lifts that were superslow and very hot. We also read somewhere before arriving that there were some stairs that you have to go down whenever you want to go somewhere from the hotel and this is true. 47 uneven steps down from the hotel and of course the same back up when returning to the hotel. This was not a problem for us but might be difficult for someone else (e.g. with bad knees).

Fine location in Golden Sands but terrible service. Rude staff. Bad and boring breakfast. 2 times in one week I experienced the cleaning staff opening my door without knocking or giving any kind of warning. No apologies were given. Happened both in the morning and evening! The bar staff is very rude and talks to you like they don’t want you to be there. Never coming back.
