A truly beautiful and authentic restaurant with a charming Bulgarian interior that immediately immerses you in the country’s rich traditions. The décor is thoughtfully designed, with traditional details that create a warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere. We ordered several meat dishes, and each one was incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into every dish. The service was excellent — attentive, friendly, and professional — and we especially appreciated that the staff spoke very good English, which made everything smooth and comfortable. The pleasant traditional music in the background completed the experience, adding even more charm and authenticity to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that we would gladly repeat and highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy true Bulgarian cuisine in a lovely setting.

An unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant feels like an old stone cellar brought to life, complete with charming folk décor and traditional music that instantly transports you to another era. The food was hearty and full of flavor. We ordered: - Clay Pot Stew – Rich, comforting, and beautifully served in a traditional ceramic bowl with rice and a roasted chili on top. Pure comfort food. - Grilled Platter – Tender, perfectly grilled chicken fillets paired with thick-cut rustic fries and a fresh cabbage–carrot slaw. The wooden board presentation added a lovely rustic touch. Portions are generous, the service is warm and welcoming, and while it’s definitely popular with tourists, the quality and atmosphere make it absolutely worth the visit.

Found this place recommended online, went here, had a great time ordering a plate with meat for 4 people, which was plenty for 5, and the amazing garlic bread. Saw the Chicken in Clay Egg on the menu, and pre-ordered that for the next day, since it takes 3h of prep. Came early the next day, and again, amazing. Fun presentation, amazing taste.

I recommend coming early or making a reservation. We visited this restaurant for lunch, and it’s a very distinctive place — from the table settings to the decor and even the waiters’ traditional attire. We ordered a mixed meat platter to share. The steak was excellent, and the lamb sausages had a very unique flavor. The pork skewer was good, while the chicken was fairly standard. I also tried an appetizer and a dessert, both of which were tasty. The staff was kind, and the service was fast. A recommended spot if you’re looking for a different kind of dining experience.

This place was also recommended by locals, and overall we really liked it. The food was tasty, with very large portions, and the service was quite good as well. The best part was probably the atmosphere and interior design, which create a very pleasant and welcoming feeling. The only downside was the price — a bit expensive in my opinion. We paid around 70 BGN per person. Still, if you want to have a nice time and try traditional Bulgarian food, this place is highly recommended.
