ARIA Restaurant в София

A very nice restaurant, tucked away on a small side street in the city center. The interior immediately caught my attention — modern, clean, and bright, a space where you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The food was truly delicious. I especially loved the cheese foam with ravioli — a very interesting and well-balanced combination. I usually only eat salads when I go out to restaurants, and the salad here definitely didn’t disappoint. The mix of celeriac, carrot, and kohlrabi was perfectly balanced, and the dressing complemented it really well. The portions are satisfying and generous enough. I also really enjoyed the pesto risotto with chicken — very flavorful and nicely prepared. I will definitely come back.

Stumbled on Aria in central Sofia and it blew me away. Caesar salad nailed it - big salami chunks, fresh lettuce, perfect creamy dressing I kept digging into. Beef tenderloin was the star: spot-on pink, super tender in red wine sauce with clever potato balls, onions and nuts. Cool modern spot, great for a solo or date night. Will return on my next Bulgaria run!

I ordered pasta with mushrooms, however it was incredibly salty. There was some sauce with the pasta, and I think it was the culprit of the saltiness. The sauce I ate with some bread because I couldn't eat the food otherwise. The pasta was aromatic and had little bits of cheese, but the salt definitely ruined my experience. The menu overall wasn't too big, there were vegetarian options. But it was quite unique and interesting, they definitely worked on the presentation. The portion size for the main were definitely on the smaller side. The pasta was not from the main course. We also had some dessert, they were quite expensive and I didn't like both I'd give them 4-5 out of 10. Can't say I recommend the place. One thing that was exceptional though was the wine list, so maybe for wine & tapas, it'd be nice.

Really good find in the city centre, right next to Vitoshka. Having already tried “Panchetata” by Atanas Balkanski, we thought we should definitely check out his other creations at ARIA. We definitely weren’t disappointed. Overall there were some tiny bits we would change about the food, but it was all delicious in the end. Presentation was also quite interesting and was definitely focused on. Our waiter (sadly we didn’t see his name tag) was absolutely lovely and made some good suggestions about the food and wine, the latter of which we also enjoyed. The restaurant itself was also quite elegant but also cozy. We would love to visit again to try some of the other dishes!

Fairly large restaurant spread over 3 zones, modern and unostentatious decor. Our waiter was particularly friendly and willing to make suggestions, top marks for that ! The lunch menu offers 2 choices of soups and several options for main course. I took the cream soup which was pleasant. My main choice, stewed pork in wine sauce with rice was more disappointing. It looked fairly ordinary, could have come out of a cafeteria. Portion was small and it lacked taste, there was no joy in eating it. Perhaps it was bad luck and I may try it again in the future, as on paper good value.
