Ветеринарна клиника Нова (Veterinary clinic NOVA) в София

The team at Nova Clinic, particularly Dr. Ivanova, are the best in Sofia. Their professionalism, trustworthiness and knowledge are second to none. We have been going to the Nova clinic with our dog, Nessie, since June 2023 when she was 3 months old. From emergency procedures, check-ups, to Nessie’s planned laparoscopic spay in June 2024, every doctor has been excellent - *all of the doctors I have interacted with speak English - which is very helpful. The reception staff are also very helpful and friendly. The cost is excellent for the care and service received. There isn’t another clinic in Sofia I would take my Nessie to. She is happy and healthy, and it’s thanks to the wonderful team at Nova Clinic.

We brought our female dog for a castration and at first they told us that the price would be from 120 to 250€ depending on the dog's weight and the kind of operation she needs. To be honest, the operation was fine and the dog is completely alright, but we are quite angry at the fact that the final price was 420€. We also checked on their website to see their prices (it was allegedly a maximum of 160€ without anesthesia, which was around 100€ at the end.) and nothing could've lead the price to be so high. The personnel was really nice, but the price issue has been quite detrimental to us.

I am from CA but as of 2024 I started spending more time in Bulgaria. My doggie always travels with me. I picked this clinic because they have everything in-house like animal hospitals in the US. The vets are very nice to the animals, thoroughly examined my doggie and took good care of her on two occasions. She picked up an infection and they helped her. Then she needed a tooth removed and they did that, too. I've made them my vet in Bulgaria. Professional, clean, modern clinic. The higher prices are well-deserved.

Fair price and has a very good staff, most of whom speak English. I had an adult/elder dog rescue and utilised this clinic for the 4 years that he was with me. He had a couple of tumours removed and other minor procedures and check-ups, and they always provided good care to my old puppy and made me feel comfortable with all the procedures that he needed until the end.

Recently through their Facebook page, we adopted an amazing puppy! From the brief contact and conversation we had with the staff, I can say that the people working there really do care about animals and love them to death (well... maybe not death... but it’s an expression 😁). Would recommend to visit them and even follow them in Facebook if you’re on the lookout to adopt a puppy! P.S. I’ve attached some photos of the cute doggie we adopted from them. ☺️
