Porto Greco Restaurant в Пловдив

As a young person, I think the atmosphere was great. The food is nothing impressive but it is delicious, the prices are reasonable for what you get. The service is good and the staff is polite.

Yesterday evening we visited the Porto Greco restaurant. Such an amazing place (and discovery for us), the food was very tasty, the service very friendly. Wow, can't wait to visit Plovdiv again so we can come back for lunch or dinner 😍

We waited quite a while when we came to be served. There is a QR-code on the table with which you can take a look at the menu, but still the waiter came to take our order around 25 minutes after we sat on the table. From the salads, there are no vegan options. Everything is either with cheese or eggs. This is something that I was not happy about, because I am on the Easter fasts. The food came very quickly and it was not with bad quality. Have in mind that the kitchen closes at 11 p.m. The restaurant is on the expensive side. But this is alright, as the atmosphere and the interior are very good. They also had DJ when we visited them, have this in mind if you are planning to go there, as the music is loud.

Interior and exterior are simply gorgeous, the atmosphere borrows from the Greek tradition but with and added touch of luxury and lavishness. The menu covers most of the basics you’d expect and the taste isn’t supreme but it’s satisfactory. Service is decent, the location is convenient, although parking spaces are limited you can find a spot in the vicinity.

I recently ordered takeaway from Porto Greco and was quite disappointed with the experience. It feels like the restaurant treats their takeaway clients differently from those dining in, which is a shame. The portion sizes were noticeably smaller than expected, especially considering the price. For the amount paid, the value for money just wasn’t there. I hope they can address this inconsistency, as the quality of the food should match the price, regardless of how it's ordered.
