This a repost of my review of this shop in Iztok where I grew up and lived in the past 20 years, some 100 yards from this store's location. In the past few months I bought over BGL 500.00 worth of food from that store, but stopped and will no longer do. My background is in finance and international trade, and I have no business interest in this small local food shop. So why would I be into fake reviews for a little store? I have visied the shop in Iztok many times and the one in Vitosha twice (the latter is closer to my office, but very hard to park near). Thus, my observations were not quite the same for the two shops, yet both experiences were negative for different reasons. This business is a chain and has more locations which I have not seen and thus have not reviewed. Yet, my convicted opinion on the shop in Iztok, in highlights, is as follows: 1) the store has items that are neither unique to this place nor are they are consistently available. Sheep yogurt "from Manastira", for example, is rarely on display. The shop person says "it will be here tomorrow" and on the next day, it is not. Once she said that she would call me, but never did. Waste of time! 2) The management is rude and rarely available, and the staff is hugely incompetent. not caring and deceiving! 3) The meat in the ready-made meatballs is overly spiced and has a weird odor. 4) the concept of boutique quality food shops is popular in Sofia and is a wonderful concept. It is just poorly executed at this place, which is why I do not go there anymore. I think it is a waste of my time. My review is based on my personal experience and opinion and should be posted as it is.
