Grand Hotel Veliko Tarnovo в Велико Търново

I had a wonderful experience at Grand Hotel Veliko Tarnovo. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, the staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and the service throughout the hotel was excellent. The breakfast exceeded my expectations — fresh, varied, and delicious. The spa area deserves a special mention: absolutely amazing, well organized, relaxing, and truly 10+ in every aspect. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a hotel I would gladly choose again and highly recommend.

I had lunch there today. We ordered 3 salads and one plate of chips. The salads came quickly and were good but after 15 minutes, still no fries. I asked the guy behind the bar who didn't speak but went into the kitchen....no chips. Some kind of manager came by - I asked him ...'yes, yes'....and walked away. The restaurant was empty by the way The chips eventually arrived with no apology or recognition that we had already finished our salads. I mentioned this when we paid the bill ....the waitress's response.....'its not my fault. I took your order. Not my fault you didn't get it' Why spend all that money on the beautiful refurbishment and not bother to introduce the staff to the idea of Customer Service? The spa was lovely, the staff there were great and the decor is first class but if a restaurant can't deal with an order of four items, there's a problem.

I am very impressed! This is the most beautiful spa I’ve ever seen in the region near Romania. The atmosphere is amazing, the service is attentive, and overall, SPA is excellent.

A 5* review for a 4* hotel. Great spa, great room, thought the tv could have been placed better, but why watch tv? Only if you are lazy enough to not enjoy the spa. Free water, goodly breakfast, come and see

Very nice rooms with a beautiful view and very clean. The main advantages of this hotel are the spa area, with many types of hydromassage and saunas, as well as the view. Moreover, the staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Also, the hotel’s location is excellent, with many restaurants and markets nearby.
