Amazing place. I liked everything. From the owner, who was super welcoming. To the atmosphere, really great, with lots of posters and nice souvenirs around. Food was delicious too. I took a kind of pumpkin roll, with cinammon.

Nice tourist cafe serving up brekky foods, juices and coffee. The woman who served me was so lovely and welcoming. The cafe is in a little lane way, we visited on a rainy cold day with construction taking place so it was all a bit drab, I'm sure on a sunny day it would be nice. The food is on the expensive side, however it's fresh and a bit healthier (yoghurt, muesli, chia etc) than the traditional pastry and bread options. Plus they have oat milk which is a plus. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Initially came to get in from the cold however with so much cigarette smoke inside, opted to be outside, I didn't order much and left. OVERALL: Would recommend if you're after something healthy and are ok with cigarette smoke.

Dropped into Bistro 16 for an early lunch, with pretty high expectations given the reviews. It lived up to all of them. The service was friendly and prompt, the Banitsa delicious and a great range of drinks (I particularly enjoyed the basil lemonade). Very highly recommended.

A very nice little bar, tucked away in an alley. The selection isn't that big, but it's all the better for it. The local specialty "Banitsa" is highly recommended. The staff are extremely courteous and speak very good English. Highly recommended for a short stop or a longer stay. The "Weiss" beer is also very tasty

Really great place in Sofia. Yo ucannfeel the local atmosphere. The food and drinks are really tasty. For a fair price you can have an authentic Bulgarian breakfast. Also the lady who was waiting on us was absolutely lovely. If I was living here I'd certainly be a regular
