Balkan Falsch в София

The atmosphere and the service are great. The waiters are polite, attentive and explain the dishes. The food is amazing. It’s a Balkan cuisine but brought to a gourmet level by unique techniques, ingredients and the creativity of the chefs. What we had: - Slices of their sourdough bread (two types) - Malidzano with homemade mayonnaise - Chicken with variations of peas - Pork schnitzel - Forest - one of their unique and unusual desserts They offer quite the list of alcohol options but since I am not a drinker I can’t really rate them. Prices are a bit higher compared to other places but the place is also above average so it’s totally worth the money. At the end we were served shots as a compliment from the restaurant. The design of the menus and their attires are cool. There is very limited (close to no) parking options so ideally going by the public transport is recommended.

The place was nice. The service was genuine. We had their so called "Falsch Benedict" and "Balkan TOP dog". Both were very good, the flavors vere rich. The portions were very satisfying as well. Later we grabbed something from their bakery. The croissants with Baileys cream inside is an absolute delight. The place is overall chill and quiet, at least in the morning :)

Top restaurant for with nice food. Food is Balkan style, but the approach is modern. Service is good. Prices are fair. Usually going there for a lunch. There is a lunch menu which is served fast.

The food was immaculate. Delicious, well thought out, representative of our culture as Balkan people. Svetlin was an amazing waiter, he really knows how to treat guests, honorable mention to Ivo, however, the rest of the staff still has a bit to learn. The restaurant itself is great, the bakery downstairs was adorable and the eclaire we got as takeaway were incredible, however, the bathrooms definitely weren't up to code and they are staff and guest usage. Great experience overall, definitely would recommend and will take any foreigner that comes to Sofia.

I can't recommend Balkan falsch enough!!! The encounter with this restaurant felt like a first date with a very experienced playboy who knows exactly what to say and how to treat you to feel special and wanting more and more! Everything was just joy for the heart -the way they greeted us like new, but very welcomed friends, the way the evening went and every detail was just superb. Oh and the food, the food 💚 we will be back and wanting more 💚😀♥️
