Faculty which needs renovation. Old windows, socialist style interior, weak insulation and outdated electricals/plumbing all which tell why it has low energy efficiency. It can also be seen that fluorescent lighting is still being used instead of LED in 2025.

The best engineering university on the Balkan peninsula. Tough but rich hands on experience and DOUBLE the amount of knowledge that you will get from the American engineering programs.(I am not exaggerating.) All I got from this school was used in my career and helped me grow, despite the common Bulgarian mentality that people often end up not working in the field they have specialized. Love and respect to our professors, I hope there are more students interested in civil engineering, survey and architecture to keep this school alive.
