Supermarket 2 + 2 в Пловдив

For so long I have been extremely thankful for this store. Me and many other students, Bulgarian and English. But for the past two months, card payments have started to take minutes to process for no reason! Honestly I've started to go to the shell petrol station because magazin 2+2 has become such a hassle; it's no longer a convenience market because of needless wait times. I used to love this place :( I've been coming here for nearly a decade and loved this place but this one thing has changed everything! I really hope it's just a temporary error or something...

They charged me 172 Lev and then told me that the transaction was declined and showed me a receipt showing Declined. I called my bank who told me that the money had been returned and the shop insisted that I paid in cash. Then, two days later they charged my card again. Only be good fortune did I notice this second charge on the account and fortunately I was nearby and able to return and ask for my money back which they gave to me. However, if this happens again to other people, especially foreigners passing by and on larger purchases, I suggest reporting the activity to the police.

It's a 24/7 grocery and basic needs store (no meds or drugs, no utilities or electricals) with a really nice feel to it and cashiers/clerks that are always greeting you with a smile. Has fruits, vegetables, cigarettes and alcohol. My usual destination for those late night cravings and also occasional shopping if I'm doing late shifts at work. Has enough space for parking if you're a driver. Haven't really checked if they speak English, but most store staff are young so I'd imagine they do.
