Very nice exhibition of paintings from the main gallery in Stara Zagora. The artworks were arranged very well and there were large boards providing explanations about the local artists.

Don’t waste you time and energy to become a graduate, you will not learn anything new in the field of painting, mural painting and graphic arts. Most students will be treated with disrespect, if you want room for improvement or growth, become a boot licker. Talented artists are not welcome.

I graduated from the Academу 14 years ago, and my experience there was nothing short of bitter. Throughout my studies, I faced consistent hostility, but the ultimate humiliation came during my graduation exhibition. After my project was initially set up, Miroslav Bogdanov and Teodor Liho orchestrated its removal from the walls—without my knowledge—while projects from classmates, some of whom had received help from my boyfriend at the time, remained untouched. A classmate later informed me of what had happened, and after 5 PM, we had to go back and redo the setup, only to be assigned a space next to the toilets. This felt like a deliberate act of humiliation, reflecting the hateful attitude I endured throughout my time at the academy. The environment was completely unprofessional—lectors regularly smoked inside the rooms, and ashes often fell onto students' projects. When this happened, there was never an apology, just complete disregard for our work. It was absolutely disgusting. The institution was so toxic and corrupt that I even doubt a formal complaint would have made any difference. Looking back, I regret not standing up for myself, but I also recognize that the system itself seemed rigged. Not much a google review can do, but if it helps even one person avoid this place could be worth it. If you're considering studying here, be aware that favoritism, pettiness, and mistreatment can overshadow the education you receive. No student should have to go through such an experience.

Thanks Lord the world knows some great artists who graduated at this place so that we can have at least a little bit of respect. Because right now, administration at this place is beyond horrible and is full of peasant people who got no idea what they are doing at all. It will take at least another 100 years for the commi vibes to be rooted out. So sad.

Nice, interesting building located at a busy, central place. There's a gallery where one could sometimes see interesting shows. Also, there is a small cafe with garden. In the proximity there are other interesting places and buildings.
