Municipal Dog Shelter 'Ecoravnovesie'

A wonderful place full of wonderful people. You can go there every Sunday and take several of the 1 million dogs and puppies for a 30 minute walk each in order to help them socialize and have a better chance at adoption. The time frame is between 10:00 and 14:00 so you have plenty of time to make a lot of furry friends! Bring hot dogs and bring a lot!

Better than expected. We were given some pretty bleak picture about what to expect there. There are around 2000 dogs who live there. May be 7-10 dogs per cage. Hardly any small dogs to see as they get adopted right away. So it’s mostly bigger older doggos. It was clean and the dogs seemed surprisingly happy. The staff was helpful and spoke English.

Really wonderful dogs and people here- a great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday AND a great place to find your next family member🐕♥️

Personnel there are very kind and helpful. Try to arrive around 12, because the dogs are fed starting at about 2:00, and walking through the kennels causes too much excitement when the dogs are waiting for their food.

Amazing dogs, it is a pleasure to make some walks with them. People, plese, go there for a walk, bring them some food and get so much love!
