Stumbled over every dog matters while looking through shelters and immediately fell in love with their mission! Not only that, I also fell in love with one of their dogs (well, they’re all sweet but one stood out). I am Berlin based and even with the distance have had a phenomenal experience over all. From the initial conversation to the post-adoption care every dog matters has been very helpful, communicative, and kind. Most of all, you can really tell they care and want nothing but the best for the dogs. Will always recommend!

We would like to recommend Every Dog Matters we are very happy with our dog we adopted, he is exactly as described and he is a great member of our family. The process was excellent. Lots of video calls, photo’s, videos and advice. We come from England so a long distance to travel for him, but the process was very smooth. Our dog had basic training and car training before coming to us. All the workers at every dog matters care for the dogs highly, which shows with the work they put into it. Thank you every dog matters.

The past 5 weeks have been nothing short of an amazing experience. What started as a one-day volunteering plan turned into 5 unforgettable weeks at this incredible dog shelter. I’ve learned so much about caring for dogs, received endless love from the wonderful people I met, and got showered with kisses from the pups 💚 I started as a newbie who was nervous about walking Dillon — the strong, unpredictable, yet silly dog — and now I can confidently walk him and manage his playful biting. Illyan's beautiful eyes — one color each — always amazed me. Charlie is the sweetest, shy little guy who just melts your heart. Stevie absolutely loves it when I scratch his tummy and makes sure I don’t stop too soon. Dobrin constantly looks silly but is the biggest cuddle bug. Rex is so big, yet so incredibly gentle. And little Lucy is always bursting with excitement, showering me with kisses and hugs the moment I walk into her yard. Each of these dogs has their own unique personality, and I feel so lucky to have gotten to know them. I only wish for all of them to find a life beyond the shelter — a home where they are loved as much as they love. More people deserve to experience the kind of pure, joyful love I’ve received from these beautiful souls. We visited as volunteers for dog walking, brushing and playing, and the feeling was amazing! All the dogs are ready-to-take-home sweethearts and if there wasn’t for the heat, we could have stayed to help with gardening. We’re definitely coming back for more dog walking since you can imagine how many dogs need their happy 30 mins time outside in the fields around. Their social media is also well-maintained with regular posting and adoption updates.

Beautiful forward thinking shelter! We had such a great experience with Every Dog Matters EU. We were lucky to have been able to visit in person, the lovely volunteers took us around the shelter twice and Ivanka spent a generous amount of time with us talking about the background and ethos of the shelter. We adopted a beautiful pup and drove her back to the UK in our campervan. The shelter made the whole experience so smooth and gave us invaluable support during and after adoption, with their brilliant trainer Marti. I would recommend to anyone looking to adopt!
