The hotel was average overall. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant offered good options with prices similar to those in Sofia. We booked a two-bedroom apartment, which had a nice view, a kitchen, and a living room, so it was comfortable and spacious. The pool was a bit murky, but the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing. Overall, it’s still worth the money, especially since I didn’t have very high expectations to begin with.

The apartment: On our first night, the living room bed was not prepared at all — no sheets, no pillows, and not enough towels for four people. We were accommodated on the top floor, where about 90% of the walls were actually very poor-quality windows. The wind was literally blowing through them, to the point where the curtains were moving. To be able to sleep, we blocked the windows with anything we could find to reduce the cold and wind. The bed was placed right next to the windows. We slept wearing thick clothes and hats. The bathroom was a complete disaster. The shower looked like it had never been replaced — peeled, yellowed, with dirty edges. The toilet clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned before our arrival. The sink faucet was old, oxidized, and filthy. Every evening, food smells came through the bathroom vent, which was so clogged that it’s surprising any air could pass through. All the furniture in the apartment was extremely old, except for the living room chairs. Everything was incredibly dirty. The bedroom bed was covered in dust and dirt, the furniture had a thick layer of dust, and the living room sofa was horrifying — underneath what was supposed to be a white cover, there were brown and black stains, and it smelled terrible. The kitchen looked like it had never been cleaned. Old food and grease were built up around the stove and on the tiles. The oven didn’t close properly and was full of dust along the edges. Food & restaurant: The restaurant was the only place in the complex that actually looked decent, but that’s where the good impressions ended. For five days, the only drinks available were water, tea, and coffee — not a single juice in sight. At dinner, water was not even included. If you wanted to drink anything, you had to buy it at extremely high prices or bring your own. Ridiculous. The breakfast and dinner included in the reservation were a bad joke. The food was repetitive, low quality, and mostly greasy fried dishes. Often there was no bread, no water, and no cutlery. The coffee was made from awful powders. Spa area: To reach the pool, guests had to walk straight through the restaurant. I don’t know if people were too lazy to use the changing rooms or if this was recommended by the staff. There is no real reception, by the way — the waiters also acted as receptionists, and from evening until morning there was no one available at all. It is absolutely unacceptable to sit at a table or enter the elevator with people who are wet, just out of the pool, half-dressed, wearing flip-flops, walking through the restaurant while others are eating. It was so inappropriate that even children were laughing. The pool itself was basically a large bathtub. The tiles looked slippery, and a small hot tub was overcrowded with around 10 men when we went to see it. We left immediately and never returned for the rest of our stay. Location: The location is far from the city center, in an isolated area. A car is absolutely necessary if you want to go anywhere. The view was decent, but even the balcony was barely usable — the wind was so strong it knocked over the chairs, and some of the windows were cracked. On top of everything, the apartment lighting was extremely poor. After sunset, it was so dark that I literally had to use my phone flashlight to look for clothes in my suitcase.
