I had a very positive experience here. I just moved from Finland to Bulgaria and went here to get a medical certificate for my work. Everyone was very professional and the waiting time was normal. I was surprised that everyone also spoke English. It was so nice to see that some of the doctors genuinely seemed to enjoy their job! The atmosphere between the colleagues at Thorax was also visibly friendly and professional.

Convenient location easily accessible by public transport. They work with additional health insurance companies. The registration desk is at the second floor - it was not clearly indicated for first come visitors. Staff was polite. I attended a neurologist Toshev M.D. - a truly professional who devoted sufficient time to me even thought I was late for my appointment. The reason I give a lower rating of the medical center is because the overall appearance and facilities look dated.

Racist, rude, and disrespectful staff. You don’t even deserve one star. Dr. Stoyanka Ninova is an incompetent and unprofessional doctor who failed to provide the necessary services and refused to issue proper documentation. She told me that if I was suffering, I should just take painkillers and go to work. What kind of professional doctor says she is tired of her patient while I am explaining my symptoms? In addition, she refused to speak with me in English and continued to speak in Bulgarian, which led to miscommunication, even after I explained that I am an immigrant and do not speak and understand Bulgarian. She spoke in English with me for only a few minutes, and I could tell she speaks it well. However, she chose to continue the consultation in Bulgarian and told me I should learn the language. I hope the higher management will take this seriously and that appropriate actions will be taken, as similar incidents and attitudes toward patients have reportedly occurred before. It is sad that such a situation can happen in Europe.

1 star is too much for this. The staff is racist, disrespectful and mocks the patients. I saw one of the receptionnist imitate me coughing and then laugh with her colleague. The général practitioner there is incompétent and should be in prison. He said I had nothing and was simulating. When I went to another doctor, I was confirmed I had COVID. I could have killed people if I followers the diagnostic of these scammers. Just never go there.

One of the receptionists is quite rude, and refuses to provide proper information upon request - resulting in a waste of time for all parties involved. We had to go to the receptionist on the other floor to get properly helped - she fortunately assisted us and apologised for the behaviour of her colleague.
