Worst bus station ever. They do not accept card. The woman at the counter was very rude and refused to speak English. We wanted to go to Samovik and the bus to take us there was a mini bus and only accepted cash in leva. It was a horrible experience. Do not go there! It's is not tourist friendly. If I could I would put zero stars

It does the job. For tourists who don’t speak Bulgarian it might be difficult. They should make it more clear and have stuff written in English. Especially the people selling tickets should be able to communicate in English if someone needs help. For a big capital city like Sofia, the station should look much better. There is a little waiting hall. There is also a little Kiosk where you can buy refreshments such as water and snacks plus some bakery goods.

Victoria Karadzhova 5.0 ★

Bus to Velingrad comes always on time. You can buy tickets at place. Though the bus station looks poor and it needs to be repaired urgently, you can find shop with zakuskas (baked stuff), toilet and other cafes nearby. As I remember, it is cash only. But there's an ATM in 5-7 mins walk distance.

It was an old busstation only 3 metro stops away from Sofia central Boulevard. There wasn’t very much in English, and if you don’t know any Bulgarian or someone kinda hard to get your tickets and travel. With the use of Google Translate we got our bustickets and persuade our journey to Samokov.

Terrible Bus station, I can say that it’s even the worst one .. It’s old, dirty, dusty and needs badly renovation. The bus schedules aren’t always correct, they also can change in the last 30 minutes. The customers service is terrible, they won’t even ask you if you have any documents for discounts .. Nothing more to say ..
