Hotel Bulgaria в Кърджали

On the night of February 4, 2026, I stayed alone in room 211. It reeked of cigarette smoke. The carpets were stained, and the shower cubicle was filthy. I ignored everything because I had no choice but to stay. I checked out at 3 AM on February 5th. I had to pay for an extra night and took bus number 4 to Türkiye. When I got home, I opened my bag and was shocked by what I saw. They had stolen some Turkish lira and some pounds. They had opened the 1-kilogram bag of sugar I brought from London, taken some out, and then wrapped it in packing tape. It's a complete disgrace. Anyone who wants to be humiliated for their money should go there. When I shared this information with the manager, I was subjected to unimaginable slander. It was nothing short of rudeness. We will initiate legal proceedings as soon as possible. Sleep on the street, but don't go there. I have never seen such a disgrace.

Amazing rooms with comfortable beds, 🛏 clean bathrooms, and lots of space. The tv remote is a bit hard to work with, but once you get the hang of it, it's all good. 🖥 The only disappointments in the room were the paper thin slippers and the shower head.🚿 The view was not bad, but there is a casino right next to the hotel. At night, some strange noises occurred, and the LOCKED door opened by itself. 😱 On the other hand, the breakfast was filling and really enjoyable.🥞 The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. There is a drugstore and an atm next to the entrance of the hotel. 🏧 We had an 8 hour journey with a bus from Varna, and it was nice that the check-in was fast because we were tired and wanted to go in our rooms as quickly as possible. 🚍 Overall, it was a great experience. Would recommend. 👍🏻

Very clean , good breakfast and great Turkish Tea ! Staff speaks perfectly fluent Russian , that was really nice!

It's a nice 2 star hotel. At the center of the town. But all of the rooms are really noisy. One looks on the main street and traffic is permanent. The other side is the back of the hotel where 10 air condition and ventilating system works all day and night and it's impossible to sleep on am open window. Another strange thing is the breakfast is in some basement 30metra out of the hotel. And the breakfast was really poor for that amount of money per night.

Absolutely disappointing. The only good thing about the place was its central location, everything else was a complete and utter farce. There is an intrusive stagnant smell haunting the hotel which gets increasingly worse as you go deeper into the building. The stench reaches its peak the moment you enter your room. We were welcomed warmly by a dirty toilet, not cleaned since the last person who used it "marked their territory". On top of that, they also surprise you with their novelty and honesty - there was a note on the toilet that said "Disinfected for your hygiene". If that's how you take care of my hygiene, I'd rather drown in a swamp. The walls are covered in stains with unknown origin and you have to play Pac-Man during your stay and avoid them at all costs. The breakfast was extremely bland and of poor quality. The staff is annoyingly dismissive and I wouldn't really call them staff, they're just garden gnomes posing there to simulate some type of work. I usually don't write reviews if I don't have anything nice to say, but what I experienced in this hotel has to be shared for the sake of potential guests (which should stay potential). I swear to god, if you don't make the conditions at least decent, change the name of the hotel. It's a disgrace to the country. Thank you and have a nice day.
