If you only speak english, do not deliver there. I was told the staff would speak english, but after the deliver I learned that the ones that work on the maternity didnt speak. I was pretty much abandoned in my room as doctors and nurses would avoid coming in, due to the fact they didnt speak english. No one came to check or support me with breastfeeding, they didnt even know if I was feeding the baby (which I wasnt, because I just didnt know everything about it and had issues with it). I paid to have the private room, terrible bed and no proper chair for sitting. They left me in my room with poor care that even the needle that is inserted during birth was only taken out of me 2 days after the delivery. Leaving me with risks of infection. I had no idea of what they did with baby, when to give the baby for checks. They would shout at me, because I didnt give the baby whenever I was supposed to. Not to say that the protocol to deliver in Bulgaria is consider obstetric violence. Such as shaving the woman, intestinal lavage, epsiotomy, try to not allow the woman to move during labour, etc. So many things Bulgaria is behind. Not to mention, that this is the only country that during the pandemic is not allowing the partner of the woman to be with her during deliver. Even countries in way serious covid situations are allowing the entrance of the partner. This proves how far Bulgaria is from a humanized birth. Shame on the health care (because not even paying everything private, I did not get better service), shame on using medicine information/researches from decades ago, shame on being a European country where you cant find English speaking people/professionals, shame on the lack of empathy of the nurses and doctors to a first time mother. If they have no support to provide, should not hold baby and mother for 3 days in a dirty hospital. Gladly I had good instincts to care for myself and baby on my own, as my partner couldn’t be with me due the covid restrictions.

In general it was ok. The operation was successful and I was out before I knew it. However, I was not given enough information by the doctor who performed my operation regarding what I need to do next with my recovery. I will go again in 10 days to receive my results for everything, and then I will ask again, hopefully someone will help.

they dont take inside no one but my wife were birth there and when she was thsirsty nobody giving water. s shopped thinks to give my wife security taking at enterance but the shopping things is not arrive to my wife. my wife drinking water from toilet !!!!!!!
